CBS won't learn! After years and years for disappointing ratings with the most liberal news personnel this side of Air America, they go and top all the others by finding the most liberal replacement they can throw money at, Katie Couric. All this does is continue to make the evening news all that more irrelevant. It is a very sad day when CBS news changes from being the source for news to just an evening Talk Show. If they are only looking to attract younger viewers, why not just hire Jerry Springer.Rome Hartman, executive producer of the CBS Evening news verifies that the only reason they hired Couric was for her personality and her "liberal" tastes. "Every 'Evening News' broadcast has reflected the personality of the anchor, and this one will too," said Hartman. "She brings a lot to the table, and the show will reflect her taste, talent, skills and personality."
