Cook County Judges recommendations 2004

The most important area on your ballot this year, and every year, isn't the presidential race, nor is it the senatorial race, but the often forgotten judges. These people have more power over you and your lives than anybody else. These judges are the ones that influences everything from whether an sex offenders has to register, or how much time a criminal has serve. They also do much smaller thing behind the scene like approve warrants or dismiss cases. I don't expect you to follow every judge and every court case to see who you approve of, but there are people that do that for you. The first is the
Chicago Bar Association not only do they tell you who they think is unqualified, but they also tell you why. That is very helpful in cases where you might be inclined to disagree. For a short cut I'll let you know who they gave an unfavorable rating to; Dorothy F. Jones, William D. O’Neal, Susan Jeanine McDunn, and Dennis James Morrissey.

There is also CCL Evaluations. (in pdf) This is a very detailed anisys of all the judges and can take a little time to sort out. But don't get dismayed because the Sun Times has this easy to read collection of all evaluations. Sun Times Evaluations
And don't forget that you can print these pages out and TAKE THEM WITH YOU TO THE POLES. Last but not least, if your in a hurry or forget who you want to retain, VOTE TO THROUGH THEM ALL OUT, why, because so many people vote to retain everybody, that NO judge has been removed in 12 years. I vote to through everybody out equalizes the playing field for everybody. Have a good and safe election day, and may the best candidate win.

Olympian and Professional Athletes for Bush

I'm glad I ran across this. I'm always running across friends and family that want to know why nobody supports Bush. If course they mean "anybody from Hollywood". As I look at this list, I see hard working athletes, I'll take the support of any one of these people, over the millions of dollars from Hollywood. Olympian and professional Athletes for Bush (Some great names on this list)

Who for President?

I'm pretty sure they have John Kerry's name in this editorial somewhere, but I can't find it. The New York Times > Opinion > John Kerry for President I see John Ashcroft, oh well, I'll just vote for Ashcroft. Now I'm not happy with all that has happened in the past 4-years, but that doesn't mean I have to vote for Kerry. I'm supporting GW, but I came to the Times looking for reassurance that Kerry would be a good leader, just in case. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

Please help, If anyone, anybody out there, has a reason I should vote FOR Kerry, I need to know it nooooow.

George W. Bush for president

This is the most coherent and concise rationale to elect GW that I have read so far. I don't really believe that the Tribune wrote it, but it's a breath of fresh air. Enjoy, and pass along Chicago Tribune | George W. Bush for president
